Scope

     Winninger Excavating, Inc. performed the mass earthwork and site utilities on two turf fields for Community High School District 218. This project included full demolition of both existing football fields along with track demolition, the installation of new site utilities, grading, and turf stone installation. We were also contracted to install a large Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) storm water detention system that was the size of the entire football field.

     The specifications on this project required grading of the final layer of stone to within ¼” in 20-feet, which required the use of our total station and fully automated grade box. With the use of the latest technology this project was completed on time and within spec.
