Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel trucks and trailers.
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
Perform DOT inspections and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Maintenance & Repairs:

Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, brake service, filter replacements, tire rotations, etc.
Repair or replace engines, transmissions, fuel systems, cooling systems, and drivetrains.
Maintain air brake systems, suspension components, and hydraulic systems.

Field Service Support:

Provide mobile repair services to job sites as needed.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site troubleshooting.
Coordinate with operators and site supervisors to minimize equipment downtime.

Parts & Inventory:

Track parts usage and maintain accurate inventory records.
Order parts and supplies in coordination with the Fleet Manager.
Maintain organized workspaces and ensure tools are in good working condition.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols at all times.
Maintain detailed service logs and repair documentation.

Delivery Driver / Shop Help

Pick up parts, material, and equipment from various locations and deliver to jobsites or shop.
Safely operate company vehicles (e.g., flatbeds, pickups, stake trucks, trailers) to deliver materials and equipment.
Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as needed.
Verify delivery contents against shipping documents and ensure proper documentation.
Keep inventory of delivered or picked up parts, equipment, attachments, and other items.
Communicate with site superintendents and foremen to coordinate drop-off locations and timing.
Navigate active construction zones and follow site-specific safety protocols.
Support warehouse or yard operations during downtime between deliveries.
Assist with cleaning the yard or shop.
Assist with washing equipment or trucks.
Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records.
Other Duties Assigned

Sewer and Water Laborers

Install water mains and water services, sanitary sewer mains and sewer services, storm sewer, and utility conduits.
Install cast-in-place manhole bases and inlets, precast structures, and various drainage structures.
Knowledge of system operation and study of building plans or working drawings.
The ability to accurately implement the necessary tools required for laying pipes, including the utilization of levels, lasers, saws, dewatering pumps, and rigging equipment.
Attention and commitment to safety and company culture.

CDL A Dump Truck Drivers

Transport crushed rock, sand, spoils, and gravel to and from specified locations.
Verify the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
Ensure that the materials are loaded correctly onto the dump truck.
Inspect the dump truck before and after every trip, which includes checking the oil, gas, and water levels as well as the lights and tires.
Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management.
Perform regular light maintenance to ensure that the truck is in good working order.
Carry out all tasks in a safe competent matter.
Maintain accurate driver logs.
